DNA Unzipped collection
The DNA range was originally made for an exhibition which was held to mark the 60th anniversary of the discovery of the structure of DNA. The range is available as a regular double helix or with the DNA in its ‘unzipped’ state to represent the process of transcription or replication.
DNA Unzipped incorporates four gemstones (Amethyst, Topaz, Citrine, Garnet) to represent the nucleotide base pairs (Adenine, Thymine, Cystosine, Guanine) which provide the code for different amino acids.
DNA Unzipped is available as stud earrings (with or without stones) or as a pendant.
